Dy filma shqiptare do te bëhen pjese e garës ne festivalin prestigjioz te filmit ne Berlin gjate vitit 2012.<br />Edhe pse jo zyrtarisht, lajmi konfirmohet nga qendra kombëtare e filmit, e cila pas disa ditësh do te publikoje emrat e filmave, njërit me metrazh te gjate dhe tjetrit te shkurtër. Ne fakt, vendimi është marre pas punës disa ditore te grupit gjerman te përzgjedhësve te cilët prej disa ditësh, u vendosen ne Tirane duke shqyrtuar filmat e te gjithë Evropës juglindore qe do te garojnë ne Berlinale. Një vit me pare, Shqipëria dhe prodhimi kinematografik pati jehone ne festivalin e Berlinit, për shkak te marrjes se ariut te argjende nga filmi "Falja e Gjakut" por edhe pjesëmarrjes se "Amnistisë" dhe "Shqiptarit". Komisioni shqyrtoi ne Tirane rreth 80 filma nga Kosova, Maqedonia, Kroacia, Serbia Mali i Zi dhe Shqipëria.
