■ AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS: With my boat sunk after a naval engagement with the pesky British fleet, and with my life raft blown to smithereens by the North Sea cross wind, I helplessly drifted into the canals of Amsterdam. Luckily an ice cream boat was docked in the harbor and offered me 3 scoops for 6 Euros. Said delicious ice cream turned out to be Amsterdam's finest and the day was saved.
