A one minute love story.

This Short Film was a big challenge for me. I got home and I saw Blue (our main actor) very quiet, staring out the window. It wasn't the first time I saw him doing that, but something was different. I could imagine what was going on inside his head, his thoughts, just by looking at his eyes. It amused me how powerful his expressions were, he could tell a story without making a sound. I got home and I saw my cat doing what all actors seek: Speak through the eyes.

My goal was to tell a story using this element, making the viewer connect with the protagonist and understand his motivations and feelings, without using any dialog or human cast. Directing cats is as hard as taking milk from stones, it took a couple of days to get the shots I needed, but I've got very impressed with Blue’s acting skills. There were moments I felt he was really aware and cooperating with the shots.
